Layne Jones, Jayden Reynaldo Obituary, Death – Authorities have reported that two high school students tragically lost their lives in an ATV accident in North Carolina on Saturday. The North Carolina Highway Patrol identified the deceased as Layne Jones and Jayden Reynaldo.
According to troopers, the two were operating a 2015 Polaris Sportsman four-wheeler on Old Wagon Road in Transylvania County when they navigated a curve, veered off the road, and collided with a tree.
Both individuals were students at Rosman High School. In response to this heartbreaking incident, the Transylvania County School District issued a statement expressing their sorrow over the loss of these cherished students.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of two of our esteemed Rosman High School students in a horrific accident,” the district stated. “Our community is grappling with an unfathomable loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of these extraordinary young individuals.”
Additionally, deputies from the Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office conveyed their condolences to the victims’ families and friends, stating, “Our prayers will be with you all during this challenging time.”
