Justo Feliciano Esteban Obituary, Death – The California Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into a two-vehicle collision that resulted in one fatality on Saturday morning at the intersection of Harrison and Russell roads in Salinas.
According to CHP, shortly after 6 a.m., a Lexus sedan carrying two occupants was heading south on Harrison Road as it approached Russell Road. Concurrently, a Honda SUV was traveling north on Main Street, also approaching Russell Road.
While the Lexus was executing a left turn onto Russell Road, the Honda’s driver proceeded through the intersection without yielding, leading to a collision with the sedan.
Tragically, the passenger in the Lexus succumbed to injuries at the scene. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office has identified the deceased as Justo Feliciano Esteban, a 19-year-old resident of Salinas.
The current condition of the two drivers involved remains unknown. The intersection at Harrison and Russell roads has since been reopened.
